This time around I'm having fun with the Seekers of Dawn DLC building a simple castle inspired by the16th-17th century Japanese fortresses. This guide will explain the basic concepts and show you the building blocks from which you might build your very own Yamatai base. Enjoy.
I'm often using a lot of mods but in this one - the only thing that's not a part of the base game or dlc is the arrow which comes from Less Building Placement Restrictions mod. You can find it on Steam workshop.

I'm so sorry but I've completely forgot about the gates. I've used small insulated wood gateway from "Glass construction and more..." mod.
