Gorilla reacts when he sees pictures of other gorillas on this guy's cell phone [ORIGINAL]

Описание: This is Jelani the gorilla, from the Louisville Zoo. Watch as Jelani motions with his hand for the young man in the video to advance through the photos he is being shown (he is showing photos of other gorillas.)

There has been concern about the habitat and happiness of this silver-back gorilla. Please note that this silver-back gorilla is housed in an award winning 4 acre gorilla sanctuary in the Louisville Zoo. He is a Western Lowland silver-back Gorilla, a species classified as "critically endangered" by the I.U.C.N. Jelani would be at risk of attack from poachers in his natural habitat and finds sanctuary and much longer life in the zoo.

The Louisville Zoo works hard to provide Jelani and his group with great nutrition, a stimulating and wide open environment, medicine and a chance and hopefully through awareness and captive breeding they'll help move this beautiful species off that endangered list. While gorillas often are seen as having "sad eyes", they are given every need including socialization, something this encounter is providing, and they are quite happy in their home.
