Summary: This week brought proper drama to the AI world as Anthropic finally pulled the ladder up on Claude Code. Turns out everyone's been using the best coding agent in town—including Elon's xAI team, which got caught red-handed using Claude instead of Grok for their own development work. Anthropic's blocking third-party tools and competitors from accessing their $200/month subscription, which was being exploited as a workaround to avoid proper API pricing. OpenAI jumped in with a "we're not like Claude" stance, but that's easy when you're behind.

I also covered Linus Torvalds experimenting with vibe coding and finding it better than what he could do by hand, which should raise eyebrows. Plus a bittersweet story about AI drones being used for mountain rescue in the Alps—sadly too late in this case, but showing the technology's potential for good.
