For Taiwanese startups, this partnership will provide vital support and breakthroughs. The bank has an extensive client base in Japan. If Taiwan’s startups want to explore the Japanese market, it can provide access to many of these customers, who present potential business opportunities.
Mizuho Bank has its own startup accelerator program, and is a bridge to financing and the Japanese market. Under the MOU, the two sides will share industry information, help startups find collaborative partners, and support technological and R&D exchange between Japanese and Taiwanese companies.
