You may have noticed that in recent years the Castle has been getting busier and busier. While we’re doing everything we can to expand new areas, create new buildings, look at opening times and so on, we’re also concerned about your safety in the Centre as more people visit us.
Over the coming years we’re looking at more ways to educate both new and old climbers about safety at the wall. To start with we’ve created a short video to highlight some roped climbing safety points – the list isn’t exhaustive but these are some of the key points. We’ll also be releasing a new boulder induction video and centre induction video in the coming months.
Enjoy! It’s a humorous video to make it easier to watch, but the points are serious.* Please pay attention to them, and if you are concerned about anything, just ask a member of staff.
