This is the livestream component of our Alumni Festival event: The Photon Economy by Professor Erwin Reisner who manages the Reisner laboratory.
Solar energy is set to become the dominant energy source in our economy, and this presentation showcases next-generation solar chemical technologies emerging from our Department.
Erwin shares a talk highlighting the laboratory's latest innovations and technologies in solar-power. They develop technology to convert waste, water and air into sustainable fuels and chemicals.
Professor Erwin Reisner is the Professor of Energy and Sustainability in the Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry, a Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Emerging Technologies and a Fellow of St. John’s College. He is an expert in renewable energy technologies and sustainable chemistry.
