Marble Pour Painting: The Surprisingly Powerful Fluid Art Trick You Need to Try

Описание: I absolutely love a liquid puddle pour and then adding in a marble to see what kind of lines we can create from tilting the canvas in different directions to allow the marble to travel from puddle to puddle. I love the impact of the metallics in this one, and of course continuing my small canvas series.

Tutorial Information and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

▶️Technique for this Tutorial: Puddle and Marble

▶️Pouring Medium formula (unless otherwise stated in the video): My paints are mixed with paint, water and a pouring medium (Floetrol Owatrol) with a ratio of 1:1:3 - You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use.

Note: Floetrol Owatrol is thicker than the US version of Flood Floetrol so you might not need the water element when mixing your paints.

▶️Cell Activator: When I use a cell activator, I use Australian Floetrol and Titanium White with the ratio of 4:1 - You can experiment with other alternatives like Silicone Oil, Vegetable glycerin, pre-stain wood conditioner or even just paint and water.

▶️Color Palette for this Creation:
Pebeo: Iridescent Silver, Iridescent Precious Gold
Amsterdam: Ultramarine Violet Light, Ultramarine Violet, Perm Blue Violet
Arteza: Pearl Lilac

▶️Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.
