Welcome to my very first vlog! Although we are now at the end of January, I’m finally sharing this footage from the Christmas break. I’ve spent the last few weeks learning the ropes of editing and overcoming the "first-video jitters," so I'm excited to finally hit upload.

This video is all about those slow, "in-between" holiday days where the main goals are finding the perfect cup of coffee and getting outside for some fresh air.

*The "Experimental" Morning Routine*

I start the day by diving into a new coffee subscription from *The Coffee Vine**. I’m brewing a Colombian bean called "Lasso Lassie" from **Sprout* roastery. It’s an experimental process bean that I can only describe as "tropical bang bang"—it’s incredibly fruity, almost like lychee fruit punch candy. I also take a moment to test out a new espresso basket and chat about my setup.

*Walking at Osmaston*

The middle of the day is dedicated to Coco, my high-energy Border Collie/Springer Spaniel cross. We head to *Osmaston* for a long trek through the woods. Since she has a habit of chasing pheasants (and I’ve actually lost her there before!), she’s now rocking a GPS tracker so she can enjoy the brambles while I stay stress-free.

*Honest Reflections & The Snack Struggle*

I’m using this first vlog to be totally transparent about two things:

1. *Vlogging Nerves:* I talk about being self-conscious while filming in public and why I’m taking "baby steps" to get better at this new hobby.

2. *The Chocolate Crisis:* I share my struggle with a total lack of self-control around snacks. From polishing off an entire *Tony’s Chocolonely* bar in one sitting to my "goal" of eating all the Christmas chocolate just to get it out of the house, the struggle is real.


We finish the night with a *Nando's**, some **PlayStation* on the new OLED TV, and a deep dive into why the original Jurassic Park vibes are so hard to beat.
