South Downs Way: Day 4 - Cocking Wild Camp to Chanctonbury Ring

Описание: Winchester to Eastbourne on the South Downs Way: Day 4 - A wild camp above Cocking passing Bignor Villa and climbing Bignor Hill before dropping down to Amberley to meet a friend. A short but hot 6 miles to Washington and then a climb to our wild camp for the night near Chanctonbury Ring.

The South Downs Way is a 100 mile trail that follows the chalk downs of Hampshire, West Sussex and East Sussex from Winchester in the west to Eastbourne in the east. It travels through farmland, forested woodland, chalk grassland and old towns.
Follow me as I hike this trail over 7 days and try to give you a sense of the history and geography of the lands I will be taking you through.
