Attending an event for the first time always hits a bit different, and SBT GRVL 2024 was no different. Packing up the Surly Midnight Special for another event at elevation certainly had me wondering how this one was going to turn out, but you never know unless you go. I suspect I'll be back to Steamboat again. Here's hoping some peace is made with the locals, so we can enjoy some of the best gravel cycling out there.
