The slippery terrain, the snow mountain tops & the rugged landscape did not stop the unmoved willpower of the STLers who achieved this monumental feat.
In 2013, Department of Telecommunications decided to create separate networks for Indian Defense Services & they were looking for a reliable, competent & a capable system integrator to deploy such a large network across the country. STL stood up to the opportunity towards taking on this challenge & progress the nation towards building an effective Telecommunications network for our Defense Forces. The Indian Defense Network had to be reliable, secure & should be in real-time to alert our soldiers for any threats & provide effective communication.
Some stern challenges such as tackling the terrain, handling a multi-functional team effectively, travelling the LOCs of both Pakistan & China, reachability issues, lack of suitable infrastructure, connectivity issues, geopolitical issues, weather problems, logistical issues but at the end, STL tech overcame all these challenges to deliver for the nation. From procurement, material supply, trenching, laying, maintaining, splicing & testing everything had to be taken care of and the highly trained and talented workforce of STL did this effectively.
