Los Angeles Fire Department units were dispatched to the 5900 block of Comey Avenue for a reported technical rescue. First arriving companies found an unresponsive adult male that had fallen roughly 25 feet down into the creek. The patient was not in any streaming water after the fall had occurred. Firefighters conducted a litter basket operation using Truck 94's aerial to raise the patient onto the street, where an awaiting paramedic ambulance was preparing patient care and transport. The patient was transported to a local trauma center for treatment.
