Описание: Expedition to the Verdon Grand Canyon with KK Slavia Praha

A little throwback to an unforgettable section of the Verdon – I made a slightly longer video this time as a reminder for the future. I’ll definitely be back one day!

Important notes:
The shots in the video follow the run in chronological order, but not everything is captured.
Be aware of wind gusts – they can increase the risk of falling rocks.
A great base is Camping Verdon Carajuan (43.7952619N, 6.4373361E), where you can launch right from the campsite.
The section is about 30 km long, packed with big boulders and siphons. If you're not confident navigating WW III–IV (at this low water level) near siphons, consider going with a guide.
Everything can be portaged.

We portaged:
le Labyrinthe (was jammed with logs) - portage on the right
Fenêtre - portage on the left
l'Imbut - 2 portages inside the cave
Cavalets (?) - portage on the right (steep up&down). Right after this one is the last rapid.
