We set out for a great day of multi-pitch sport climbing on the classic Big Bad Wolf at the Riding Hood Wall in Red Rocks, Nevada. However, about halfway up, we encountered a party moving extremely slowly and unsafe, making us realize that our best bet was to bail and traverse to the neighboring route.
It turned into a chaotic-but-fun day as we made a spontaneous transition to The Woodsman! We managed to get our send in and had a blast exploring the wall, but this day was a huge reminder about staying safe and being aware of the climbing parties around you.
Stay safe out there, friends, and remember to always have a backup plan!
