Ms. Katie gave an interesting example that shows the difference between the generations in Korea. She showed the picture that represented each generation and talked about the difficulty of dining together. Ideas that she gave for making a better generation of culture were “Get-Together”, “Thank You Talent Sharing Dinner”, and “Zoom Get-Together”.
Katie Eunjeong Kim is a founding member of Daegu International School (DIS) and has spent the last decade as the Admissions Coordinator. Now, in her new role as Marketing and PowerSchool Specialist, she is creating strong interdepartmental bonds with students, teachers, and staff members at DIS. As a Marketer, she plans and executes marketing strategies and digital content across the web. She also leads, assists and provides a range of PowerSchool related technological and administrative services to the DIS community. As a strong believer in lifelong learning, Katie has studied in Norway as an exchange student and she is currently pursuing her Ph. D. in Educational Administration at Kyungpook National University. Her passions and interests are education, the environment, sports, and traveling, having traveled to over 35 countries. Katie always enjoys challenging herself as she is a self-motivated and goal-oriented person who is energized to pursue various activities.
