Описание: Giant puffball mushrooms grow in mid Summer and into the Fall, and can get very large. This species is only edible when the flesh is pure white. Once they mature, their insides turn black and dusty with spores, and are no longer edible. Only eat puffballs with pure white inside! They are quite mild tasting and have a tofu-like texture. You can fry them up in butter, deep fry them, mix them with scrambled eggs, or even use them in place of noodles in lasagna.
