In this livestream, I'm following a guide from a member of the Payload community, Rubix Studios, to implement Google OAuth in Payload from scratch. I'll include PKCE security, session management, and the full four-layer auth architecture.

We'll walk through every step live: setting up Google Cloud OAuth credentials, building the authorization and callback endpoints, writing the custom authentication strategy, wiring up the frontend trigger, and configuring the Payload user collection to support external auth providers.
