Jean-Luc Moens est laïc, mathématicien, père de sept enfants et grand-père. Il s’est converti à l’âge adulte, sa spiritualité est liée au CHARIS, le Service International du Renouveau Charismatique Catholique. Selon Moens, l’évangélisation est comme le parachutisme : l’Esprit arrive au bon moment, ni trop tôt ni trop tard. Au bon moment, il ouvre le parachute et donne le cadeau nécessaire pour atteindre le cœur d’un homme.
