Ingredient
1️⃣All-purpose flour (Maida) 150 g (1¼ cup),
2️⃣Sugar 150 g (¾ cup),
3️⃣Eggs 6 (300g),
4️⃣Sunflower oil 60 ml (¼ cup),
5️⃣Baking powder 1 tsp
6️⃣Vanilla extract 1 tbsp,
7️⃣Vinegar ½ tsp(or lemon juice )
8️⃣Salt a pinch
👩🍳 Instructions (Step-by-Step)
Preheat oven to 170°C (OTG mode: top & bottom heat with fan).
In a bowl mix:
1️⃣Maida
2️⃣Baking powder
3️⃣Salt
Keep aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add:
4️⃣Eggs
5️⃣Sugar
6️⃣Vinegar
Beat on high speed for 4–5 minutes until thick, pale, and fluffy.
Add 7️⃣vanilla extract & 8️⃣oil, beat on low speed for 1 minute.
Add dry ingredients in batches.
Gently fold using a spatula until smooth and lump-free.
Pour batter into a greased 8-inch round cake tin.
Tap the pan 2 times to release air bubbles.
Bake at 170°C for 40 minutes.
Cool completely before slicing.
Slice into 3 even layers – perfect for a 1 kg cake 🎂

5️⃣ Sunflower oil – 60 ml (¼ cup)
6️⃣ Baking powder – 1 tsp
7️⃣ Vanilla extract – 1 tbsp
8️⃣ Vinegar / lemon juice – ½ tsp
9️⃣ Salt – 1 pinch
