Our final day visiting Toyama ended with great weather which allowed us to access the alps as originally planned. Sadly, we didn't have too much time since we had to make sure we packaged a morning hike smoothly enough to get back to catch our shinkansen home in Toyama City; however we had a wonderful time strolling around the Murodo Daira Loop.
We recall having a bit of confusion when trying to figure out where and what to hike as most websites lacked clarity on beginning trailheads for newbies like us, so please feel free to reference this video to get a better idea on how to access Murodo which is the trailhead for many different prospective paths of Tateyama.
