How to build rapport. (NLP Series: #2)

This video is the second one in our “introduction to NLP series” and in it, we are going to have a quick look at Rapport.

You’ll probably struggle to find a sales or leadership program that doesn’t talk about “building rapport” however you’ll also struggle to find one of those programs that actually explains what it is and how to do it.

Everyone claims to know what it is, however most of them can’t articulate it. The most common thing people think of when we ask them is to make “small talk” about the weather, family, what they did on the weekend.

My question to you is – if you are someone that hates small talk…does someone doing this build rapport with you?

So if rapport isn’t just small talk, then what is it? And how do you do it?
