Our tree wellness services are designed to either maintain the health of strong and vigorous trees or to improve the health of trees that may be stressed. Signs of stress may include stunted or reduced growth, discolored foliage, unnatural thinning of canopy or premature leaf drop, cankered stems, and death of individual branches. Depending on the specific tree and its surroundings, some of these symptoms may not be significant enough to merit treatment. However, a disease or pest will threaten a tree when all three of the following factors are present: A susceptible tree, a pathogen or pest, and a suitable environment for a pathogen or pest. When only two of the three factors are present in a specific location, there is little to no risk of a disease or pest negatively affecting a tree.

When considering where trees are growing, we know that soil can often suffer from lack of nutrients, lack of oxygen, or poor water holding capacity. Regardless of the situation, we have the knowledge and resources from our certified arborists to help determine the current or future potential issues that your tree is experiencing. At times when it is unclear what the cause of a symptom is, we take a sample of your tree or nearby soil and send it to a specialized lab to identify the exact issue. If it is decided that your trees or shrubs need treatment, we offer two treatment plans: Integrated Tree Health Management and the Individual Treatment option.
