In this Part 2 of our travels, we explore the northern section of the islands — from the Cape Alright Lighthouse on Havre-aux-Maisons all the way to Grande-Entrée.
Here’s what we got up to:
✨ Cape Alright Lighthouse – A stunning spot with a nearby beach perfect for exploring.
✨ Cap Noir Hike – Windy but totally worth it for the breathtaking views!
✨ Pointe-aux-Loups – A peaceful drive along Route 199 with incredible sand dunes.
✨ Seal Interpretive Center – Super informative (usually $10 in summer, but free when we visited). A great rainy-day option!
✨ Sentier de l’île Boudreau (Pointe de la Grande-Entrée) – The best hike in the Magdalen Islands, with ocean views and dramatic bluffs.
✨ Belle-Anse Sunset (Fatima) – The perfect way to end the day in paradise.
