Описание: To use Davies Acreex floor coating, you must thoroughly clean and prepare the surface, apply a thinned first coat, and follow up with a second, less-thinned coat. The surface must be completely dry and free of contaminants before application.

Step 1: Prepare the surface

The type of preparation depends on the surface material and condition.
New concrete: Allow new concrete to cure for at least 28 days. If the surface is smooth and shiny (non-porous), use Davies Subprep-Clean and Etch Solution to ensure proper adhesion.
Old or previously painted concrete: Remove any flaking, peeling, or cracking paint with sandpaper to roughen the surface. Use a wire brush to remove dust. Ensure the surface is free of wax, oil, grease, and other foreign materials.
Metal and wood: Grind and sand the surface. Clean thoroughly to remove any rust, oil, grease, or moisture.
All surfaces: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust before painting.

Step 2: Apply the first coat

Thin the coating: Mix 4 liters of Acreex with up to 1 liter (or 25%) of Davies Acreex Reducer.
Stir well: Thoroughly mix the coating using a spatula or by pouring it back and forth between two containers to ensure a uniform consistency.
Apply the coat: Use a brush, roller, or spray to apply a single, even coat.
Let it dry: Allow the first coat to dry for 2 to 4 hours before recoating.

Step 3: Apply the second coat

Thin the coating (if needed): For the final coat, if thinning is necessary, add no more than 10% Davies Acreex Reducer.
Apply the coat: Apply one full, even coat straight from the can, or with minimal thinning.
Let it dry: Allow the final coat to dry for at least 4 hours.

Step 4: Allow for proper curing

Light traffic: After 24 hours, the surface can handle light foot traffic.
Full traffic: For maximum hardness and durability, wait 7 days before exposing the floor to full traffic.
