Whether a whimsy of Nature or an extreme case of mimicry, their impressive forehead protrusions make them appear as living sculptures. Resembling something out of a Sci-Fi movie, these creatures are undeniably real—tactile inhabitants of the treetops and various strata of the tropical rainforest. Due to their extraordinary rarity and elusiveness, they have never undergone systematic study, photography, or filming—until now.
