In this episode of "The Exchange," playwright and television writer Terence Anthony discusses "Godspeed," a bold new play premiering at Denver Center for the Performing Arts on January 30.
Set in Texas in 1865, Godspeed follows a formerly enslaved woman who returns home from Mexico with a single bullet and a mission shaped by loss, survival and reckoning. The play explores themes of justice, freedom and the stories history chooses to remember...or forget.
