We had the best stay in Tugaloo State Park. This State Park is the best when it comes to lake view. Whether you are renting some of their cabins or you have your own RV, or you bring your own tent, most areas have a great view and access to the 55,590 acre of Lake Hartwell.
The name “Tugaloo” comes from an Indian name for the river which once flowed freely prior to the construction of Hartwell Dam.
