Captain's Trail | The Granite Dells | Storm Trails | Prescott, AZ | AZ Mountain Biking

Описание: Captain’s Trail is part of the Dells or the Granite Dells system of trails. More specifically the Storm Trails. Most of the Storm trails are on the east side of the Peavine Trail. There is $3 parking (Wednesdays are free) just across from the Prescott Yavapai Humane Society (1625 Sundog Ranch Rd, Prescott, AZ 86301). From there you’ll ride approximately a half-mile on the Peavine to the trail system.

As with all my trail videos, it is my intent to first document and character ride each trail as mapped the best I can. With these videos I’m not saying these are the best lines, the worst lines, or the only lines. Just the lines that were on the mapped trail or just off it for the most part. I will likely do alternate/bonus line video(s) sometime in the future after the completion of all the mapped trails.

Captain’s trail is a rated black trail within the Storm trail system of trails. It’s approximately ¾-mile each way. The peavine and Easter Island trail are accessible from Captain’s (and Tennille trail; video coming soon). There are climbs/downhills at both ends of this trail. Some of the best views of the Granite Dells and Watson Lake can be had from Captain’s trail.
