I Went to the KBIS Convention and Found AMAZING Grills… But Why Was There a Potty Sniffer?

Описание: Welcome back to Dad Got This… and today I found myself walking the floor at the KBIS Convention. Yes. The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show.

I went in looking for grills. That was the goal. Just grills. Simple. Instead, I stepped into one of the biggest shows I’ve ever seen. North Hall. South Hall. Stuff I expected… and stuff I absolutely did not expect.

Right out of the gate I found a grill island bundle for around $1200. With the island. That caught my attention.

Then I ran into pizza ovens that heat up in about 15 to 20 minutes and push past 950°F. One of them goes over 1000°F and even rotates the stone while it cooks. That is serious heat for a portable setup.

Stainless steel griddles were everywhere. Built in pizza ovens. High end grills with lighted knobs. Outdoor kitchen setups that make mine look… a little haphazard.

And that was just the grilling side.

There was a full under counter water system that gives you still, sparkling, or hot water from one tap starting around $4500. An espresso machine with a barista flown in from California pulling shots like a pro. Fire pits that you can feel the heat from across the booth. A fireplace with 3D projected birds flying around inside it.

Then…

A smart toilet with an automated ventilation system.

When I said KBIS had everything, I meant everything.

Some of it was affordable. Some of it was definitely luxury. Some of it made me stop and say I have never seen that in my life.

If you’re into outdoor kitchens, high heat pizza ovens, stainless steel griddles, espresso setups, or just want to see the wild stuff companies are bringing to market, this one is for you.

And yes… you will eventually see the Potty Sniffer. 😆🔥
