This is a high-quality version of the famous speech Jimmy V delivered the day of the Duke/NC State game. This came during the pregame ceremony held to honor the Wolfpack's 10th anniversary of the 1983 NCAA title.
This speech is considered by many NC State and Valvano fans alike to be superior to the speech he delivered at the ESPY's weeks later.
This video includes an introduction by Brent Mussberger, the replaying of Wally Ausley's call of the final seconds, and Jimmy's introduction to the crowd by former Wolfpack football coach Dick Sheridan. Valvano begins speaking at the 14:00 mark.
