Its 1986 and Steamtown has moved to Scranton, PA from Bellows Falls, VT, and are based at the former DL:&W station. They are running steam/diesel excursions from Scranton to Moscow, PA. This video shows an excursion returning to the station on a rainy Sunday afternoon with a 4-8-2 Mikado in the lead, .and a F-unit on the rear. In these early days equipment was painted as Lackawanna, but most often was of a different heritage. The Mikado was a former CP or CN locomotive and the F-unit? However, it was early days and we now know how Steamtown has matured in their
present location.
