Описание: In this past interview, *Charles Kanjama*, then a Senior Counsel and candidate, set out the vision and promises he made to advocates ahead of the elections.He spoke about his 22-year legal career, his service within the Society and his belief that his experience, integrity and track record uniquely positioned him to lead.
He told lawyers that the presidency of the Law Society of Kenya must be anchored on trust, independence and strong, principled leadership.
Kanjama explained that his manifesto was built on four key pillars — rule of law, integrity and independence, practice and welfare, and engagement.
He promised to move LSK from a largely reactive defender of the rule of law to a more proactive institution, including publishing annual rule of law reports and strengthening engagement with constitutional bodies.
He also pledged to confront declining integrity within judicial and registry systems by strengthening accountability mechanisms and encouraging structured feedback from advocates.

He further promised lawyers improved practice conditions and welfare, stronger and more specialised CPD programmes, protection and expansion of practice space, and greater use of technology and emerging areas of law.
Kanjama told members that LSK must remain non-partisan and firm on principle, while engaging all stakeholders in pursuit of constitutionalism and access to justice.
