Welcome back to the channel, today we`re heading into the heart of Plymouth`s barbican to explore the old King`s arms - a historic pub that dates all the way back to the 17th century.
This building for over 350 years, believed to have first open its doors around the 1650s, during a time when Plymouth was a key naval port for the British empire. Back then, this area was bustling with sailors, merchants, and even a few smugglers- and pubs like this one we`re right at the centre of it all. From surviving the English civil war`s aftermath to witnessing World War 2 bombings during the Blitz, The old King`s arms has seen it all.
