Damaging these cables specially the cable on the top will disable permanently the face ID function. A few cleanup on the frame, and the front earpiece need to be transferred to the new screen. True tone will be disabled after the new screen has been installed.
Everything else should work fine just like in my test in this tutorial. Apple has made updates to allow batteries and screen replacement without disabling keys features.
