Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U) - 3-BOSS Triple Trouble:

Описание: Oh lordy. This one is a huge troublemaker in the Wii U version.

So this is 3-BOSS, Ba-Boom the Boisterous.
This fight is seperated into three phases, as most, but not necessarily into three individual hits for each. Each monkey has three hit points indicates by the strength of its fur color.

Where do I even start on this fight...so in each phase, what's important is both taking a monkey down, and ensuring all other monkeys are already on top of the beam above so the next phase starts as soon as possible.
This is actually primarily achieved by also hitting the other monkeys. You can just let them do their attack and eventually they'll climb or swing back up, but the fastest way is to hit them, and then they drop back in from the top.

So for Phase 1, we open by standing in a specific spot on the left side, roughly on that darker hill in the ground. From this position teal monkey doesn't need to move to start a swing down onto us, and this also makes blue and red consistently swing into us from the right in such a way we can pogo on them to let the next attack start. If you get the positioning on this wrong, Teal will swing again, which, while it does let you get an extra hit, loses time, because you still have to do the full next attack, during which now Red and Blue will attack, instead of Teal and another.

So we camp left, roll into Teal from left the moment it hits the ground for a damagless, and then roll into the other.
Again, I wait on a specific spot on the right, on the higher piece of rock in the foreground. This causes both teal to be able to swing without adjusting, and blue and red will scurry the beam for adjustment long enough that by the time they're done, they realize Teal has no HP, so they go into Phase 2, both still on the beam. If you mess up, they'll swing and you lose like 5 seconds minimum.

Phase 2 is an RNG wall. Start by following the monkey who has passed the bomb to his friend and praying he goes low enough to pogo, then do the same for the other. This is like, ~40%ish for each?
Following this, they'll both drop in from the top. Knock one over, roll it away. Knock the other over, and WAIT until the second one drops down again to roll it away. Then finish off the other guy. If you hit both at once they'll do another longer attack. Plus, this method ensures the final monkey is right back on the beam for the next phase transition.

Final phase is simple, but also has some RNG.
Hit 1 has few bombs to go around, but where the melon bomb is thrown is random. I got unlucky here and was unable to pick it up right away, losing minor time.
Hit 2 is simple, just wait for the real monkey to swing and jump on him. Ideally position yourself such that he doesn't have to adjust his position at all.
Hit 3 is rough, ideally you damageboost here through the big rain of spiky bombs and instantly catch the melon during a pogo, but it's wildly inconsistent. I opted to just wait out the final spiky wave, safely pick up the bomb and toss for the finish.

It's important to note that the side the ghosts appear on is always the side the melon bomb will be tossed for Hit 1 and 3.

There are so many nastly random factors here, with most of them being complete runkillers for anything Sub 1:50. In the end though, I kept at it till I got this run, which I'm very happy with. 1:47 with a Heart Medal is really, really good. It's also a SIGNIFICANT improvement over my old time, and over the Shiny Gold.
