The Arthur Rylah Institute scientist, Dr. Scott Raymond, outlines the four steps of restoring rivers for native fish. This project focused on the Ovens River and partnered with community and catchment management authorities to restore rivers in this demonstration reach. The four-step approach to restoring rivers is a method developed through the Native Fish Strategy and includes 1. Planning, 2. Implementation, 3. Monitoring and 4. Communication.
