38 Minute Bike Ride (5.8 miles) in Panther Creek Village - The Woodlands, TX U.S.A. –Start from the Meadowlake Park Parking Lot. Head to Lake Woodlands Dr and follow along to Gosling and on the Research Forest, then back to Meadowlake Park. The second loop is shorter and also goes to Lake Woodlands Dr. Then turn on Panther Creek and follow Panther creek back to Meadowlake Park. Depending on the time you have, you can enjoy the longer loop, the shorter loop, or just do both as I did for a nice outing.
During this ride, you will stay on paved paths the entire time. Your will be in the shade for almost the entire ride. There is barely noticeable elevation gain during the ride. This is a pleasant ride, but be aware at vehicle traffic crossings.
The total distance is just under 6 miles and takes about 38 minutes – riding speed between 8 and 9 mph. I plan to explore more of the Bike Trails in The Woodlands and then post them along with locations. If you live in The Woodlands and have a suggestion for a moderate (20-45 minute) ride, please leave your comments. It will be interesting to explore The Woodlands Bike Trails as I get time. As of this writing, there are 220 miles of paved multi use paths.
