Video-lecture delivered on March 30, 2022, at Advanced Battery Power Conference in Münster.
Here I present a new distributed AI-based control algorithm extremely simple to tune and implement, which has proven to be really effective in balancing cell-to-cell differences (SOC, voltage, temperature) in Electric Vehicles (EVs) operated under most demanding conditions (aggressive driving and fast charging). As a result, EV range is extended, power capability is increased, and charging times are reduced.
