Children being overweight has reached epidemic proportions in Barbados and the region. The Caribbean Public Health Agency forecasts that one in 5 children are at risk of developing a Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) later in life.
Hear from Senior Medical Officer of Health (NCDs) in the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Dr. Arthur Phillips, and hear from some of the parents of children who attend the Yute Gym operated by the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
