I wanted to do a quick weekend build so, I took the Trumpeter 1/350th kit of The Sullivans DD-537 and converted it to the USS Johnston famous for it's crew's exploits in the Battle of Sumar as a part of Taffy 3. Her C.O. Commander Ernest Evens was the first Native American to receive the Medal of Honor.
