I've Got Abaco is based on the 1984 hit written by Eddie Raven & Frank J. Myers, "I've Got Mexico". I've Got Mexico was Raven's first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in June 1984, and spent a total of thirteen weeks in the top 40 of the country chart.
The Barefoot Man sends thanks to Eddy Raven for letting me use his song for an Abaco Version.
