EPS-TOPIK stands for Employment Permit System-Test of Proficiency in Korean. It is a test that evaluates the Korean language proficiency of non-native speakers who want to work in South Korea. The test is conducted by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRD Korea) and is recognized by the Korean government.

The EPS-TOPIK test consists of two parts: a written test and a listening test. The written test consists of two sections, which are the multiple-choice section and the fill-in-the-blank section. The multiple-choice section contains questions that evaluate the test-taker's understanding of Korean grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure. The fill-in-the-blank section tests the test-taker's ability to use Korean vocabulary and grammar in a practical context.

The listening test consists of two parts as well. The first part contains dialogues, and the test-taker must answer multiple-choice questions based on what they heard. The second part of the listening test contains short conversations or speeches, and the test-taker must answer questions based on their comprehension of what they heard.

The EPS-TOPIK test is scored out of 200 points, with a passing score of 80 points or higher. The test-taker's proficiency level is determined based on their score, with level 1 being the lowest and level 6 being the highest.

The EPS-TOPIK test is widely recognized by Korean employers, and passing the test can significantly increase a non-native speaker's chances of obtaining employment in South Korea.
