Colombian presidential hopeful Ingrid Betancourt has told Al Jazeera her country is 'fed up' with extreme political positions and violence.
Betancourt announced her candidacy on Tuesday.
She ran for the top job 20 years ago, but was kidnapped by FARC rebels and held for six and a half years.
In an interview with Al Jazeera’s Alessandro Rampietti, she outlined her vision for Colombia.
