Located right outside the town of Kingman, Arizona is a place called Hualapai Mountain Park. It's only a 2-hour drive from Las Vegas! It is a beautiful area with some pretty awesome hiking trails. I was fortunate enough to hike some of the peaks there. The first peak I hiked was Hayden Peak at 5.5 miles rt with 1,758 ft of elevation gain. This trail is labeled as moderate. It was an amazing hike and a great introduction to this not so well known park!
