2 hour set from Friday April 10, 2020 (during Covid pandemic). Trapped in Paradise online festival.
My DJ set was about duality. Contrasts and similarity. Music comes from somehwere. Music takes you somewhere. Music evolves on that journey and so do you. The first half of the set is at a slower tempo (80-100mpb). The second half of the set is at a higher tempo.
There are points of connection throughout the set. There are 4 artists that feature twice in the set. Every song is paired to another song somewhere in the set. Sometimes it is obvious (songs mixed together. songs by same artist or different version of the same song). Other times it is less obvious. Can you find the pairs? What do you think about the pairings?
