Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express

Bhubaneswar Tejas Rajdhani Express is a Tejas-Rajdhani Express train starting from Bhubaneswar, the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Odisha to the final destination of New Delhi, which serves as the capital of India

The three sets of Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express run on three different routes:

1st set of train number 22811/12 runs through Adra with a total distance of 1730 km in length with an average speed of 75 km/hr

*2nd set of train number 22823/24 runs through Tatanagar with a total distance of 1802 km in length with an average speed of 73 km/hr.

*3rd set of train number 20817/18 runs through Sambalpur with a total distance of 1910 km in length with an average speed of 71 km/hr.

Bankura , West Bengal

Bankura is a city and a municipality in the state of West Bengal, India. It is the headquarters of the Bankura district. Bankura was described as Suhmobhumi. The word larh or rarh (in Nagari: rāḍh) was introduced after 6th century A.D. It comes from the old Austric word ráŕhá or ráŕho which means “land of red soil” 2-n ancient times "China called Ráŕh by the name of 'Láti'". 3-n Santali, lar means thread, rarh means tune and larh means snake. 4-.Perhaps the Jain and Greek scholars used this original Austric word larh to indicate this dry forest region which was very difficult. The popularity of Manasa Puja, the worship of Snake-Goddess Manasa, shows this opinion might have some relevance. According to Nilkantha, a commentator of the Mahabharata, the words suhmo [bhumi] (Sanskrit: suhma-bhūmi) and Rarh are synonymous.

Why is Bankura famous

Bankura has an international fame for the “Bankura Horse”- a terracotta crafted horse, and for Dashabatar Tash (the historic paintings). Bankura is famous for agriculture, the huge production of 'Mango' and 'Mustard'. Tribes like Santhal, Bhumij(Sardar) and Munda reside in Mukutmanipur region.

New Delhi railway station

New Delhi railway station (station code: NDLS) is the main railway station of the Indian capital of New Delhi. Platform 1 is located at Paharganj and platform 16 opens up on to the side of Ajmeri Gate. The station is in Central Delhi, about two kilometres (1.2 mi) north of Connaught Place in New Delhi. It is one of the busiest railway stations in the country in terms of train frequency and passenger movement.

Until the 1950s, the Old Delhi railway station was the main station in Delhi. The official inauguration of the one platform New Delhi railway station took place in 1956. The station building at Paharganj was the first in India to have common station facilities for all classes of passengers including a common entry and exit. With the station meeting its saturation limit as early as the 1970s, there have been continuous efforts over the decades to decongest the station including the rail traffic. By the 1980s the station had seven platforms, in 1995 it had ten platforms and during the 2010 redevelopment the platforms increased to sixteen. The new station building on the side of the Ajmeri Gate was upgraded during this redevelopment. Delhi Metro connectivity has been integrated.
