Amazing protein bars made with vanilla protein mix. Low calorie snack bars with only 395 calories. These are made without peanut butter.
Ingredients you need:
Honey
Carry's Low Calorie Syrup
Raw almonds
Oats
Vanilla extract
Vanilla whey protein powder mix
Steps For Making These Low Calorie Bars
1. In a large bowl add two cups of vanilla powder and two cups of chopped almonds together and stir.
2. In a second bowl combine a half cup of honey, a half cup of Carry's Low Calorie Syrup, ten drops of vanilla extract and a half cup of water, mix together.
3. Mix the two bowls of ingredients together. You can add more water as needed. The consistency you are shooting for is a little wetter than cookie dough.
4. Add in three quarts cup of oats.
5. Spread mixture evenly in a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
6. Place the vanilla protein bar mix in the freezer for a couple of hours.
The thing I love about these low calorie bars is that they don't have any peanut butter in them. So many of the protein bar recipes include peanut butter and a lot of oats. I don't like oats. So, I don't add a lot of them in the mix.
You are going to get 10 snack bars out of this recipe. Each bar has only 395 calories.
This vanilla protein bar recipe will totally blow you away when you bite into the end product. I watched a lot of Youtube videos for making these snacks and the ones I tried were not very good. The all had too much peanut butter and oatmeal. This one is exactly what I like, nuts and vanilla!
