We set out to build our first greenhouse, and we got it done — complete with a fresh paint job and a full row of large crop plots ready to go. No planting just yet, but everything is staged and waiting.

To make life easier, we started work on our windmill water system — a game changer that drills for water and can automatically supply crops and animals. No more running buckets back and forth across the ranch.

On the business side, we butchered our first chickens and sold them during a market sale, almost doubling the usual payout… even though shooting them in the face still didn’t feel great.

And the big win of the day — we finally made our first goat cheese! 🧀
After buying the enzymes, production is officially underway, and this is just the beginning.

The ranch is growing fast — with baby goats coming soon and piglets not far behind.
