I was first inspired to make my own DMAE homemade wrinkle cream after reading Dr. Perricone's book, "The Wrinkle Cure".

DMAE is an amazing nutrient that works by extending the life of cells, inhibits the cross linking of proteins, which gives the skin a tone and firm appearance.

It Really is important if you want to get results that you use high quality DMAE 100%
Pure DMAE. Cosmetic grade is a blend of DMAE Amine and tartaric acid ( it needs to be a ph balance of 3.5) .I have had some adverse reactions using a lower grade DMAE that is not adjusted for skincare.

I have recently found first mixing DMAE with Aloe Vera gel really helps to dissolve the DMAE.

Instructions If you are making 50ml cream with 4% DMAE

1. Mix 2 grams of 100% pure DMAE Bitartrate with 1 tablespoon Pure Aloe vera Gel
2. Mix until dissolved
3. Add 40ml of your chosen base cream
4. Mix well and put in a clean sterile jar or bottle.
5. For best results make fresh every 4 wks

'DMAE (amine ) is extremely alkaline and not suitable for DIY. Even if you have the anime form, it will still need to be neutralized to make it suitable for use on the skin. DMAE bitartrate, is already neutralized with tartaric acid making it safe and effective for skincare use. Hope you enjoy the results

Just to share another recipe you can make with your DMAE powder is-

You can also try mixing 1/2 a tsp of DMAE with 2 tablespoons of distilled water and 1/2 teaspoon of glycerin for an instant trans-dermal serum. You can use this serum instead of the cream for the daytime. It is a lot lighter and able to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin. Just make sure to make it fresh every week.
