One of our most popular patterns—a discrete green olive fly that is the favourite among many experienced salmon anglers around the world. The Tungsten 1/2 Turbo Cone gives a medium profile and demands some special tying techniques. You must be very accurate with the thread and do things in the right order.
This subtle pattern is best on a quite clear river on that day when clouds are low and the rain is about to bless your fishing. We fish them mostly in quite big in sizes, even up to 12-15 cm sometimes. This is a big fish fly that over the years conquered some really great silvery salmon.
